Laboratory and Pathology


Our laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and staffed by licensed technologists under the direction of a board certified pathologist. Your physician may order tests that will require taking a sample of your blood. Other tests ordered by your physician may require samples of other body tissues or fluids. If you have a laboratory test, the hospital bill will include a charge for the laboratory to cover the use of equipment, supplies and the technologist's services. You may receive a separate bill from the pathologist for professional consultation and interpretative services.
